A decision ladder, not a grind script

Idle Mafia Game Progression Guide

Progression works best as a sequence of constraints: protect cash you cannot afford to lose, spend Energy against a defined cash or XP goal, compound Property income around your real online schedule, then improve Crew for the next fight or Family activity. The game has separate Energy, Stamina, and Health pressures, so one universal upgrade order would hide the decision that matters. Use the next bottleneck as your guide.

  1. 01

    Choose one next goal

Name cash, XP, attack, defense, or Family readiness before spending.

  2. 02

    Protect exposed cash

Compare the visible 10% Bank fee with the cash you are prepared to lose.

  3. 03

    Spend Energy deliberately

Select Jobs by cash or XP per Energy and your current unlock level.

  4. 04

    Compound Property income

Use your own online hours with the visible 25% offline rate.

  5. 05

    Build the blocked Crew role

Improve ATK or DEF for the next combat or territory objective, then test again.

Cash protection

The Bank is a risk decision

A checked Bank screen stated three important rules together: deposits charge 10%, banked cash is protected, and cash on hand is exposed—especially while offline. That does not mean every dollar should be deposited immediately. It means the fee is known while the loss risk depends on how much you carry and what you plan to buy next.

If a near-term Property purchase needs liquid cash, compare the fee with the delay caused by depositing and rebuilding the amount. If you are leaving the game with more cash than you can accept losing, protection may be worth the known cost. Keep the decision anchored to the current screen in case the game changes the fee.

Three separate constraints

Energy, Stamina, and Health

Energy

Runs Jobs

A long gameplay recording showed about 1 Energy every 10 seconds online and 1 per minute offline. Treat both as observations; the calculator keeps online recovery editable.

Stamina

Funds combat

The same recording suggested about 1 Stamina every 2 minutes online and every 5 minutes offline. It is slower than Job Energy in that observation.

Health

Controls fight readiness

Hospitalization can block fights and Bosses. The checked walkthrough still showed Jobs available, giving you a productive route while combat recovers.

Money without shortcuts

How to build cash faster

Combine active Job income with recurring Property income instead of searching for a single permanent “fastest money” answer. Jobs let you direct Energy toward immediate cash or XP. Properties continue producing when you leave, although the observed offline rate is only 25% of normal. Reinvest when the calculated payback fits your next unlock rather than whenever the hourly number looks large.

Once the economy is stable, Crew and equipment turn resources into offensive or defensive capacity. Test one change against the next activity, then reassess. Families, Heists, and territory should come after the underlying bars and cash flow are understandable because their complete reward and scoring formulas are not yet reproducible.
